Composition does matter in that if you want to be successful in combat, classes need to balance each other. While it’s somewhat hands-off, there’s something about being able to throw different classes into the mix and seeing how they all work together. Being able to put your friends or other Miis from the Miiverse into these character roles is easily the best part of Miitopia, as it provides a unique kind of humor for those of us who are immature.Įach party member has a unique personality trait that describes them, and these traits can take effect during the game’s turn-based combat. Let’s just say the drama is nonstop in Miitopia. These conversations can be secrets about other teammates, characters exchanging gifts, or even confessing their feelings for one another. Mainly, there’s a lot of random interactions wherein the party members will stop and have a chat, or dialogue will occur amongst companions when resting in the inn. While this story doesn’t exactly sound original in any way, there’s a quirkiness to how the narrative is presented. As the intrepid hero, the player’s main task is slaying the Dark Lord and restoring the lost faces of various townsfolk that are encountered. This Dark Lord wants to rule over Miitopia and ensure that every person is faceless. In the world of Miitopia, people are having their faces stolen by a Dark Lord. Enter Miitopia, an RPG for Nintendo Miis, allowing them to slay a Dark Lord, save innocent townspeople’s faces, and perhaps find romance along the way. While chatting with a good friend of mine, I was encouraged to try an RPG that I would have never picked up otherwise. Sure, it’s fun to have a little avatar of yourself, but outside of games like Tomodachi Life, not a whole lot was being done with our little Mii buddies for me to gain interest. If you chose to have the change jobs method, you will not be able to get any teammates, as the story events don't work, and the Villa will crash if you toggle it. So, you can use the normal moveset for the Cat and other jobs, just without the models or animations. Now, although it may not seem like it, the data for the jobs is still in the game. Choose one, and you can see you have an HP Banana as a weapon, and the traveler clothes. You will see that you have the Cat, Imp, Scientist, Tank, Princess, Flower, Vampire and Elf in the demo.
You then can get a job from the voice, or change jobs if you enabled that. Put the SD Card back into your 3DS, navigate back to the save locations on JKSM, then press Y while hovering over the save folder.
Once you do that, press save then exit out of the save editor. Alternatively, you could open quest.sav and unlock the ability to change jobs, then open common.sav and unlock all jobs. Open it and press the button with all the jobs on it. Open your save in JKSV>Saves>Miitopia Demo>(Save file you want to edit)>common.sav. Once done, turn off your 3DS, put the SD Card into your PC, and open Miitopia Save Editor. Make a back up, press New again, and make the save you're gonna be editing. Open it, and navigate to Titles>Miitopia Demo>Save Data, then press New.
